The project officially started on 01/07/2025 and will end on 30/06/2026. Its purpose is to provide hospitality, health and educational assistance to a group of 88 male and female children and HIV-positive from birth at the Bimbi del Meriggio family village, with specific reference to: food, medical treatment and laboratory tests, school attendance at primary school and related school materials. In fact, Aina Onlus is committed to guaranteeing each guest 5 meals a day, which are essential for the sustenance of the child who has a deficient immune system. Of fundamental importance for the health of the children in the hospital are medical treatments related to the onset of diseases caused by HIV positivity and the CD4 count that allow the immune response to infections to be measured. Education is guaranteed by the school "A.I.N.A. Paolo's Academy" located within the family village, recognized by the Ministry of Education, whose interventions in the area of education are aimed at guaranteeing excellent education. The project is supported with funds from the Otto per Mille of the Waldensian Church.
